Hyderabad: Over 13,000 people have been enrolled as voters in 15 Assembly constituencies of Hyderabad District within two months. While the number of electors in the draft roll as of November 1, 2021, stood at 43,53,556, the number of electors in the final rolls as of January 5 was 43,67,020.
Currently, over 4.36 lakh people are enrolled as voters in Hyderabad district and among them over 2.25 lakh are male voters, 2.11 lakh are women and 666 enrolled themselves as the third gender. The number of polling stations in Hyderabad stood at 3,977.
The new electors were enrolled after the summary revision of electoral rolls was taken up by the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC). The final electoral rolls have also been uploaded in www.ceotelangana.nic.in to ease the voters to verify their names.
The District election Authority, Hyderabad in a press note request to all the voters of 15 assembly constituencies of Hyderabad District to check their names/ polling stations in the electoral rolls. The draft electoral rolls (draft voter list) has been uploaded in https://ceotelangana.nic.in/.
If there are any corrections that need to be made including change of name, address, age etc they have to approach the concerned Electoral Registration Officers (EROs). Requests for new enrolments, claims and objections can also be made online by logging into https://www.nvsp.in.
