Hyderabad: 24 years old fitness trainer ended his life on Monday after losing his job in Kachiguda, Hyderabad. R. Manikanth took this extreme step at his home.
The family brought him to the hospital, but upon reaching there, he was declared dead. Kachiguda police have registered a case and started investigation.
According to the police, Manikant was living with his family in Barkatpura. He was earlier employed as an instructor in a private gym in Kachiguda.
A few months ago, his job was abandoned due to the Covid epidemic. Since then, he was not getting a job and was facing financial difficulties. He was looking for suitable job opportunities and was hoping to start work soon.
But due to the second wave and lockdown, his hopes were dashed and he went into depression.
The police said that a case has been registered and the cause of suicide is being investigated.
